DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl Tailgate Experience
On behalf of DIRECTV, we would like to invite you to participate in the annual DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl Tailgate Experience. The tailgate happens on Super Bowl Saturday as a kick-off to all Super Bowl Festivities and is one of the highlights and most sought-after tickets of all Super Bowl weekend.
What is your organization's pre-game tradition? Can your group come up with the most eye-catching, fun and energetic game to entertain and engage thousands of fans before the Beach Bowl?
DIRECTV is looking for the best and most unique tailgating games and traditions that your student group has to offer!
We are looking for student life organizations, fraternities and sororities from the Greater New Orleans area to show your spirit and create the best tailgate experience for the over 6,000 fans that will attend and watch the Celebrity Beach Bowl and concert. Last year in Indianapolis, we had a great turn out and the winning organizations had a blast as VIP's at DIRECTV's Super Saturday Night Pre-Super Bowl Party, the biggest A-List and celebrity event of all Super Bowl weekend.
The Rewards
- 10 lucky fraternity/sorority and student life duos will be selected to set up and run their game at the Celebrity Beach Bowl tailgate.
- Hang your student organization colors, flags and banners throughout your gaming area and decorate your area to the max!
- Each group will be guaranteed a select number of tickets to attend the Celebrity Beach Bowl to watch the game and see the postgame concert that in the past has featured stars such as Katy Perry and The Fray!
- After successful completion of your game, each group will receive VIP admittance passes to the exclusive DIRECTV's Super Saturday Night Pre-Super Bowl Party. (All VIP party attendees need to be 21)

DIRECTV's hub at Mardi Gras World will be the hottest spot in New Orleans when Super Bowl weekend kicks off with DIRECTV's Celebrity Beach Bowl on Super Bowl Saturday, Feb. 3, 2013.
Guests will arrive to an interactive fan experience prior to the doors to the Beach Bowl opening featuring food and beverage, beer gardens, sponsorship pavilion, television broadcast and an interactive gaming experience providing fans with the best tailgate games New Orleans has to offer by the area's best universities.
